problem
In the automotive sector, communicating the complexity and variety of components during events, trade shows, or presentations can be challenging when using static tools. Traditional displays do not allow for immersive interaction nor enable visitors to independently explore possible configurations, limiting the overall experience.
solution
The interactive demo was born from a concept by Triplesense Reply: by collaborating with their team and their client, we designed and built a physical device capable of transforming a configuration app into an immersive and engaging experience.
The interface integrates capacitive buttons, touch screens, and an encoder, allowing users to navigate options intuitively and surprisingly. Every action triggers feedback on the digital interfaces and lighting effects—powered by over 20 meters of RGB LEDs—which create a seamless synergy between physical elements and digital content.
The table is designed for exhibition environments, showrooms, and corporate presentations, where it serves as an innovative touchpoint between technology and design.
The interactive table was developed through a series of prototypes aimed at refining every aspect of the user experience, from functionality to aesthetics.
Beneath the protective surface, capacitive sensors allow users to directly select architectures and domains, turning the tabletop into an interactive interface without visible or mechanical components.
On the table’s right side, there is a single physical control: an encoder designed to support users in navigating and understanding the technical information. This analog control works alongside a fully digital system integrated within the central machine.
The central unit of the table, produced entirely using additive manufacturing, houses four touch screens, each dedicated to specific insights and configuration options. LED animations, present both in the table and inside the central machine, activate in sync with user actions, amplifying the sense of interaction and creating an immersive, coherent, and engaging environment.
